Extra-Curricular

Extra-Curricular

At our school, we believe that education is about more than just academic success. it is about helping each student grow in confidence, build friendships and discover their passions. Our comprehensive extra-curricular programme is designed to support your child’s personal development through a wide variety of activities outside the classroom.

With opportunities in music, dance, drama, sports, leadership, community involvement and academic enrichment, there is something to suit every interest. Students can join the school choir, participate in our annual musical, or attend dance and drama rehearsals. We also offer a broad sports programme including Gaelic football, soccer, athletics, rugby, basketball, badminton and much more.

We offer a range of leadership and wellbeing opportunities through groups such as the Student Council, Interfaith Team, the Oak Team, and the Leadership for Life programme. In addition, social and cultural groups like the R.I.S.E. Team (LGBTI+), along with our language and art clubs, provide inclusive and supportive spaces where all students can feel valued, express themselves and build connections.

Extra-curricular involvement plays a key role in supporting students’ wellbeing, building resilience and encouraging them to try new things in a supportive and structured environment. All activities are supervised by our dedicated staff and take place at lunch or after school.
