R.I.S.E Team

The R.I.S.E. Team—which stands for Resilience, Inclusion, Support, and Empowerment—is a student-led group that plays a key role in shaping a more inclusive and positive school environment. Supported by Mr. McCarthy and Ms. O’Keeffe, the team leads a wide range of initiatives that promote student wellbeing, equality and representation across the school community.

R.I.S.E. members organise impactful events such as Stand Up Awareness Week in November, a Colour Run in the summer term and ongoing LGBTQ+ awareness raising campaigns throughout the year. The team also runs speed-friending sessions and hosts a bi-weekly lunchtime club, creating a supportive space for connection and belonging.

The R.I.S.E. Team actively contributes to the school’s voice on inclusion by helping to develop a student charter for inclusion and by working towards the Belong To Quality Mark. Their passion and leadership ensure that all students have a voice and feel seen, heard and valued at school.
